Each of the modules with the Guarde for Glass system are linked through databases that contain information that is relevant to different business functions. This module linking allows a unique information flow giving increased control of data and security to business managers. In addition to this control, each module has far more functionality in an easy to understand form than a single screen system would allow.

Individual modules can be installed seperately on a user's computer or user profile. The effect of this is to further reduce the access that an individual user has to information which isn't relevant to the performance of their particular duties within the company. An advantage of this is to further protect company owned data and minimise the chance of interference with information.
